Today I ran errands....in my car. C had said she wanted no part in teaching me to drive due to the fact that she likes our house and doesn't want to be a bad teacher or have any adverse effects on our friendship.
However, since one of the conditions of my insurance is to have a real license in less than 60 days (preferably 30) - I have to practice. A lot. In traffic. So tonight when she needed cat food, she asked me to drive her. And I did! In the middle of 6:00 traffic even.....
It was fine. My turns are too fast but it was fine. We're all in one piece.
I wonder if I'm ever not going to feel wired after driving. We'll see I guess.
