Boondock Saint's 2 - All Saint's Day
So, it has been railed against, hoped for, condemned and praised - like Troy Duffy or not, he actually did make a part 2 to our family film and it actually is in theaters 3 days from now.
The original intent of this little rant was to let everyone know that we have a family field trip this weekend - I was apparently going to try to organize it. However, before you try to find babysitters or plan a hot date at the movies with your nearest and dearest friends and fellow troublemakers, I am here to tell you that our final destination to see this film is about 6 hours south.
That's right. The 'theatrical release' is not happening anywhere in the bay. There is no mention of anywhere near here on the official site or in our local listings. It is all over the greater LA area and further south - but about the closest we'll get to it this weekend is Hollywood.

If the info magically changes between now and this weekend, we were planning on a Sunday evening trip to the movies - but certainly don't hold your breath. I don't have a lot of hope for seeing this anywhere but the playa or our living rooms, because I for one, refuse to go to LALAland for a sequel., or for any reason these days for that matter, despite the fact that I'd love to see hypnobella and her man. It's just not happening.
So now the intent of this little rant becomes - what is everyone doing on Halloween proper?? I know Friday is the DNA thing, but a Saturday Halloween never happens...well OK it happens every 7 years or so, but still....is there a plan??
