OK. The economy is about as bad as it can get and people are getting laid off left and right. The holidays are coming which means frantic scrambling and creative bookkeeping in all our minds. I know this because I am just as broke and scared as everyone else and wondering if I'll be able to pull myself out of the mess of doctor bills and still be able to go away for a few days or buy a present or 3.
