Oh, I don't diet to look sexy - I'm in my late 60's and have no intention of killing it in fashion. I just want to feel as good as I can, and pay attention to what my body needs and wants. That's why I joined WildFit, and that's why I'm Living WildFit and won't ever go back to poor food habits. Once I got through the 90-day program and understood what my body was telling me it needed, I paid attention. It doesn't mean I can't have this or that, but most of the time it does mean I choose - consciously - whether or not I'm willing to do that for this. Most of the time I find I can do without quite nicely.
I started out at close to 160 and have settled on a five pound spread from 119-115. I'm quite pleased, I feel great, I'm certainly NOT starving, I get my treats and sweets (carefully moderated) and I'm happy. I'm quite aware it isn't for everyone, but it suits me to a T. I also live a live of intentional movement - I try to get a lot of physical activity into each day (which is hard with a job that often keeps me computer-bound.
You said you're wheelchair bound. That's a hard thing to deal with. Are you completely immobile because of your heart, or are there things you can do that might help strengthen you? Just curious, I guess. Feel free to tell me it's "none of my business" and I'll totally understand.
