Feeling reminiscent
So here's a blog from 2003:
The point at which I prided myself on ingeniously going into 4th species counterpoint wasn't quite that...it was reverse 4th species counterpoint.
A few other times I resembled Darius Milhaud; "if it's diatonic, it works." NOT in the style of Bach apparently. In fact, I was told that my honor pledge stating Bach didn't compose this was unnecessary--it was rather obvious this wasn't Bach. *sigh* I'm not Bach.
Oh, and there was that one spot where I was told: "That's f*cked up." Yeah, in those words.
Yeah, I definitely am no Bach. I still can't believe my pride and joy, 4th species counterpoint, was reversed.
