Vote with your feet

I don't like the immunologists who've been teaching us, and Dr. K (who has been doing quite a lot) the least of all. Today, Dr. K was giving a 2-hour, back-to-back series on B-cells, antibody, and complement. The man speaks at a comfortable, slow pace, but yet I cannot for the life of me ever figure out what he's saying. No accent, not too fast... but try as I might, I get NOTHING out of listening to him. If I read the book, I go through it once and I've basically got it.
SO, instead of class, I just left at 12 for lunch and stayed in the library for 3 hours reading the book. As I left the library to go eat lunch for a few minutes, I realized (having been sitting at a cubicle and thus not looking up) that almost everyone else on this floor of the library were classmates who were also skipping class.

So in case the head of the course hasn't read our course reviews, maybe the fact that everyone goes to the library instead of Dr. K's lectures should say something. Or maybe voting with your feet still does you about as much good as voting by punch-card...
