I usually just travel to see family, but I did go see Old Faithful once as a kid. It was sorta not as exciting as my parents thought it was, but still pretty cool; and I absolutely loved the painted pools in that same park. Also the wildlife was great! So if you're taking recommendations, that park would be mine. (I want to say it was called Yellowstone, but I don't quite remember now.)

Yellowstone is indeed where Old Faithful resides, and it is *definitely* on our list of places we want to visit. The problem with Yellowstone is that because it's so far north and they get so much snow, it is usually not open to the public during spring break, which is when we take many of our trips (because Leslie is off from school that week). We are planning to check it out during summer sometime, probably the year after next.
