Rules of Maryland Weather

Feb 24, 2005 09:17

The First Rule of Maryland Weather: There is no rhyme or reason to the weather. It does as it pleases. If it inconveniences you, so much the better.

The Second Rule of Maryland Weather: If there is snow, or threat of snow, people lose all capacity for rational judgment.
(Corollary: The collective IQ of everyone on the road drops by 50% if there is snow in sight.)

The Third Rule of Maryland Weather: If a weather forecaster claims to accurately forecast the weather, he is lying. The weather will do something unexpected and make you look like a fool for trusting the forecast.
