THREE UP
Kane - The ageless monster Kane is back, and in a big way. After helping dispose *ahem* Braun Strowman at TLC, Kane faced Finn Balor on Raw. The Big Red Machine drilled Balor with three straight chokeslams before pinning his shoulders to the mat with a disrespectful forearm across the face. Kane is more aggressive than we’ve seen in a long time.
Alicia Fox - After two straight weeks of losing to Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox has finally seen things go her way. By defeating Banks and Bayley in a triple threat match on Raw, Fox has become the Raw Womens Team Captain at Survivor Series. First a shirt, then a PPV pre-show match, now a high profile spot on one of the biggest PPVs of the year. Foxy is trending up!
Drew Gulak - Filling in for a laryngitis-stricken Enzo Amore, Gulak was able to display some of his mic skills and comedy chops during the Cruiserweight segment. His crusade to make a “better” 205 Live has been going on for a few weeks now, but his star is beginning to shine on Raw. If given a chance, Gulak can break out as the next star of the purple brand.
THREE DOWN
Kurt Angle - After his electric return as a competitor inside a WWE ring, Angle awkwardly watched as Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon led a band of Blue Brand thugs into the Raw locker room and decimated the red roster. Apparently Angle can pick up a steel chair and fight against his own team at TLC, but yet he can’t lift a finger in defense a day later?
Jason Jordan - How exactly does one get a grocery cart full of vegetables backstage at a WWE event? Regardless, one night after his cheesy display at TLC, Jordan took a wicked Elias guitar shot to the arm. A huge, nasty bruise immediately appeared and Jordan was clearly in pain, but the “doctors” who ran down to check on him were more concerned about moving his hands out of the way so the cameramen could get a good shot of the damage. Jordan was reduced to being as much of a prop as the lettuce he tossed around one night prior.
Braun Strowman - The “Monster Among Men” was not even on this episode of Raw because was murdered at TLC. His own tag team partners turned on him, smooshing him with a garbage truck. Can’t get too much more down than that.
