So today I went on some huge adventures. First I went to work. I've been weeding that garden at church for three weeks and it's still not completely done. It's insane. But it was a jungle before; now it's extremely less so. Then I talked to Pastor Kurt for twenty minutes. Then I tried to find David Potter's House. I got lost but I eventually found it. David Potter is my old dance teacher. He lent me a hat to wear for 42nd Street. Then he gave me two of his movies: The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. Lol. This guy is obsessed with movies. He has hundreds of video tapes. And then he showed me his costume room with all the costumes from all his old shows.
Then when I got home, I found out that Jim had come over and he had brought me some lasagna and some other weird italian food his mother made. He invited me over his house, but when I got there his psycho mom wouldn't let me in the house. So to make up for it, they brought over some food. Unfortunately I was at work at the time.
Then at rehearsal, I taught the kids my dance. I was really nervous. I had done five different revisions of the dance so I figured out the final version this afternoon. But there was one girl in the group who was always trying to catch me making a mistake and giving me a hard time. She was so annoying. And then some people wanted to change what I had choreographed to make it easier. So I was like whatever. Then we also did a speed read and practiced another dance. Afterwards, we were going out.
Then we waited for like 30 minutes for Mom to find her lost keys only to find out they were sitting in the front seat. But finally I got to Friday's just in time to order (that's where I went with all the other kids from 42nd Street) and I ordered chicken fingers. Then the craziest thing happened. All of a sudden the waiters all started singing the birthday song. And everyone at the table stared at me. And I'm like, you're kidding right. They told them it was my birthday. So I got a free ice cream sundae. OMG it was so funny.
Then after that we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Lol, I thought it was really good. Johnny Depp is so funny. He's such a good actor. If anyone remembers that skinny old guy from that Irish movie we watched in Mrs. Katz's class, he played Charlie's Uncle. It was really sweet...pardon the pun. I saw my old friend from elementary school, James Damon. He went to see the same movie as us. His birthday is the 17th. When I said this he said, How did you remember that? I said, How could I forget. Idk, I remember my first best friends in the world: Ryan Shea, James Damon and Matt Rigby. I still remember their birthdays and phone numbers. Other friends I had later on in childhood came and faded away. But these were my first real best friends, so they remain in my memory forever I guess.
Then I went to Barnes and Noble for the midnight madness for Harry Potter. And I got the Harry Potter book. And I saw tons of people I knew there. But primarily I hung out with Mary Thompson and her friends, Janet and Sophie.
Today was one of the longest days I've had in a long time. It rocked. I love these summer days. Cherish these days while they last because you never know how many of them you have left. This is Double Z, signing off.
