I have officially quit my job and am going back to the States on Tuesday. I have one more class left to teach in Turkey. I will probably be in North America until January when a bunch of jobs start, but expect to be bored of home within a couple of days so if anyone wants a visitor or to go somewhere let me know. Warm places take precedence over cold places. (As in I will probably not visit sildra because she lives somewhere where it snows, whereas if someone wants to go to Ecuador with me that would be awesome... Maybe I should just go there by myself...) I am already probably going to go up to Seattle, and possibly Baltimore...
There are a lot of reasons I decided to quit including my contract not being upheld, I hate the company I work for (they are liars and manipulative), and I am generally not terribly happy here for a host of reasons.
I already have a job offer for a really good job in Singapore, and I haven't even really started looking yet, so I am not at all worried about finding something else to do. I am going to look at Vietnam, maybe Hong Kong and anywhere else that catches my fancy.
I will probably post some stories or something sometime when I am home and bored.
