Much like paris' rer system, the Renfe in Barcelona is bigger, meaner, faster and more dangerous than its metro counterpart. There are few alcoves to hide in and the stations are spaced quite far apart. Late at night the service thins though, and one has plenty of time to walk. Until a train comes, then you'll be a runnin'.
