So lately I’ve been really busy with things. School and work have been keeping me very occupied. I have been hanging out or at least trying to hang out with my friends lately and I have been making new friends too. I met this awesome guy from long island who lives right next to Princeton University. He’s really cool because we can talk about anything and we normally just go to a sports bar and play pool or have a couple of beers and relax and watch a movie. I have been talking to Laura so much more now and she is so great. I am actually going up to see her for Halloween for her sisters party. Still undecided on what I should dress up as. (any suggestions?) This weekend is homecoming, granted I didn’t graduate yet, all of my friends that did are coming back and I can’t wait to meet up with them all. Ugh, I that just reminded me… I was invited to go Olde City this Friday for a friends 21st birthday and I was invited to go to another birthday party on Saturday. Maybe I can skip the party on Saturday and after work hit up the bars with my friends from school. Ok, that sounds good. This Saturday I was invited to go to my friend Colin’s roommates party. Colin is another awesome guy who I just randomly talk to online, and once in a while on the phone for a couple minutes! Considering that I never met the kid in person, I can’t wait till I do. The other day I hung out with Lois and Mai and we went and ate at the Continental I think it was called… the food was pretty good and I had a great time with them. Afterwards, I dropped Mai off and Lois and I went to her place and we just talked about all this stuff since we havnt talked in so long. We plan on hanging out a lot more and she plans on showing me around Philly since I still have never been actually around Philly! Next people I plan to hang out with is Irene, Alicia, Michelle and everyone else… God I miss everyone I think next week I am hanging out with Mark again… ahhh and this weekend I get to see Kate :)
School has been going really well. I have been getting everything done on time and I just got my midterm grades back. I have 3 A’s and a B+… next semester I am signed up for 5 classes at nova and I am thinking about picking up a 6th class so that if I don’t like one of them I can always drop it. I also had a meeting with the assistant dean of engineering and of commerce and finance and we worked up a schedule so after next semester, I will split my business courses and engineering courses. They said if I take 5 classes a semester I should only have 1 more year after next semester. THANK GOD. I will finish with two degrees and start full time at my current job. Then all I need to do is get my engineering license… I don’t think I am going to stay with this job even though it is really easy and the people that work here stress over the smallest things and take forever to do everything. But I want to travel a little bit. My friend Joe who works at a mechanical engineering firm said that they would hire me and start me at roughly 65K. but the nice thing about that job is that I would be able to travel once every other month for 2 weeks at a time. And its not to stupid places… my friend Joe has pretty much seen the world (he’s been to China, Italy, France, Japan, Spain and England) so once I graduate I want to apply there and see what happens. But I want to see how much they will offer me here. Then I will make my decision.
I think that is all for now
Hopefully since ive been caught up with all my school work I will be able to hang out with everyone else sometime soon
