Charlie can't even remember falling asleep. But he must have, because there's no way what he's seeing is really there. It's simply not possible

A soft smile playes upon her lips as she walks towards him, the soft breeze teasing her curls. Claire looks no different than she had the last day Charlie had seen her face to face, the day he kissed her goodbye.
Slowly she moves towards him, her gaze turning to look out towards the ocean, "That's where it happened, just out there Charlie. That's where you died."
Coming to a stop she stood just inches from him, that happy smile playing upon those soft lips, "Desmond never saw this coming did he." Of course, the real Claire had no idea about Desmonds visions.
He frowns, following her gaze out to the ocean before turning back to gape at her again. "Claire..." And that's all he manages to say for a long moment.
It all feels so real. He has thought about Claire every day since he's been back, and now he's standing mere inches away from her. Close enough to reach out and touch her.
"That's because it's not real, none of this is and you know that. But I'm here for a reason, I here to help you." Reaching out she brushed her fingers over his cheek and smiled, "You weren't supposed to come back and yet here you are."
Her eyes looked back towards the ocean, "Now you just have to find your way back to the Island, to the woman you love."
Charlie lets out a breath and reaches up to touch her hand with his own, almost surprised that he can actually do so. If this is a dream, it's the most vivid one he's ever had.
"I don't understand," he tells her softly, his voice little more than a whisper. "Who are you?"
He meets her gaze silently for a moment, still unable to believe he's this close to her. That he's actually touching her. "What d'you mean it's lost? What's happened to her?"
"She needs you to save her Charlie, do you remember the black smoke from the Island? It's evil and dark and it's filled the void losing you left. She's not the same." Moving closer, Claire slowly wrapped her arms around him, "You need to save her, save me."
Charlie hesitates only a moment before wrapping his arms around her in return, pulling her into a gentle hug. "How?" he whispers a little desperately. "How do I save you, Claire?"
Closing her eyes she draws in a deep breath, "Find me, that's the first step, find me." Pulling back just a little she presses a soft kiss to his temple.
"How do I find you?" he whispers, breathing deeply as he rests the side of his head against hers and closes his eyes. "I've been trying, but I don't even know where to look."
"Eloise Hawking," she whispered, "Daniel Faraday's mother, she'll help you get back." Claire told him where to find her, but then pulled back enough to look into his eyes with a smile, "I'm sure this isn't the kind of dream you'd imagined having about me."
Arms slowly encircle him, fingers curling into his hair.
"I miss you, so much," another kiss, deeper still. Charlie could probably feel her heart beating in her chest, she was sure it was going to explode. Even if this were a dream, "I've wanted you for so long."
Charlie may be able to feel her heart but for the rapid beating of his own. He tightens his grip around her waist as if to pull her even closer, but at the moment, she's about as close as she can get. "I've always wanted you, Claire."
Slowly she moves towards him, her gaze turning to look out towards the ocean, "That's where it happened, just out there Charlie. That's where you died."
