We Found The Hand Of Franklin! by buzzylittleb

Hi, buzzylittleb here, to really prove that this is "anything goes" Thursday! Okay, first I'm somewhat obliged to appologise for the tardiness of this post, which was caused by a series of unfortunate relocational incidents resulting from the completion of my degree, the result of which I shall find out upon the morrow ( Read more... )

Oh, brilliant. You really brightened up my incredibly boring day. And, heh, Jeremy Bentham. My roommate has devised a scale for measuring happiness. The base unit is a Bentham and it is equivalent to the happiness one receives from stealing the wax head of Jeremy Bentham. Most daily life experiences such as acing an exam or winning the lottery rate on the microbentham scale. Mostly irrelevant, but I just had to share.

Yay Franklin!

Thank you so much for your post - that was every bit as good as reading fanfic.

And now I'm wondering it anyone's written a fic in which our guys actually do find the hand of Franklin.

*big scary grin*

I know of one (at least) viridian5's When The Matter Is At Hand. It's the first that springs to my mind at least and is a crossover with Dr Who.

Thank you - I'll be looking that up. (I thought I replied to you earlier but it's not there - sorry if this ends up being a double post.)

Here is a link to a ds_ficfinder post where someone was looking for the same stuff. Several different stories there involving finding the hand of franklin.

Go down the coast and go caving!!!

Of course, the SAS will probably gripe -- but it'll give you something else to do while waiting for degree results!

Kingsdown? How do you know that?

Actually, the MOD would gripe, but now I have my shiny exam results.

Excellent! Amusing and educational. Sounds like you had a great day too :)

I hope you get the results you want on your degree *fingers crossed*.

P.S That story about Jeremy Bentham is just too bizarre, lol.

It was a lot of fun, even if it was too hot and we got rather lost.

I really have no idea what I'm going to find when I get back to Uni tomorrow and face the results board of doom!

I left most of the really weird stuff about Jeremy out.

You went on the tube when it was hot? Urgh! That's far more uncomfortable and dangerous than trekking across the "Northwest Areas", you must be very brave! Or crazy.

I hope it's good, my life is so dull at the moment that I'm actually excited for you even though I don't know you. Good luck.

Ok now I'm worried...Weirder than his head being kept in a college safe? That's just not right.

He wrote a pamphlet on useful uses for dead bodies, including using them as statues and garden ornamentation...
