First week of dS 30th Anniversary "30 Below Fest"
One of the suggestions for week one of the due South 30th Anniversary "30 Below Fest" is to do a themed recs list. The theme I'm making here is based on the rhyme "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue".
For "something old" I'm reccing a 2011 fic on AO3 by Tatau, the first fic writer for whom I ever did beta back when I was new to fandom. It's titled "Paper Heart," it's F/K, and Tatau's summary is "AU in which Vecchio never got replaced by Kowalski. Instead, Fraser tries to cope with loneliness and happens to make the acquaintance of RayK anyway. But there’s something about Ray that makes Fraser wonder if he can trust his senses…or if he has to trust his heart instead. Taking the magical realism to the next level."
