*squee and flail* Oh man. Poor Ben, I'm not sure how he managed being around an unavailable Ray Kowalski for as long as he did. I love how you worked in canon, that's one of my favorite parts of AUs, and this <3 And oh Ray, that must've been kind of hellish on his part as well, but they got thier happy ending and I'm filled with awwwww. And also hunger.

And you gave good Chicago, god, Fraser on the L with all that food.

Right, with the incoherent flailing out of the way, that was just...oh, Turnbull! And Dewey! And Huey!!!! You took the characters and put them in places that really worked, I loved the style of the flashback, the gradual revealing of what went wrong (and wow, how fitting *applauds*)and the way past and present began to meet gradually as Fraser's journal entries got more present until it was the happily ever after bit.

God, and the Stella vegas bit- I just love how you've twisted both canon and fanon here, it works really neatly *admires*

Hot and well paced and wonderfully done, with the food- just guh, with ray tasting things, and flirting with fraser, and them feeling all trapped by their respective situations. In this fic there were more impediments to their eventual relationship than usual, and you dealt with that so darn well, making their eventual getting together hot and sweet and wonderful. And aww, they are so boyfriends!

In conclusion: Boiling water! Hee hee hee

You know, it's funny. Huey and Dewey as the wedding band and Frannie as the waitress were the first things I had in my head for this fic. SO yay! I'm so glad the structure and the unfolding worked for you. It took me a while to come up with a way to do it gradually and naturally, and I'm so glad it felt right!
