Yes, yes, on both counts. Synesthesia FTW. (Until I read up on the subject a couple of years ago, I was not aware that synesthesia is not everyone's experience. It just seemed natural, to me.) It was a great way to describe the extra layers of scent perception that dogs obviously have.

I do that! I had to have an injection not long ago, and then promptly told my friend it was 'orange'. Hey, it was orange, ok? Bright orange. Also, five is not blue. Five is bluey-green. Eight is blue. :D
