ooh this one hit my butons big time! I was all "it's like Quantum Leap - no, Time Traveler's Wife - no, just shut up and enjoy it already!" Which I did, immensely. It was beautiful and them and my heart broke for Ben, yes, but even more for Ray, who had to go through this alone, and had been since he was a child. And it felt so in character, so right.

Basically, I loved this just to pieces.

oh, yes! i didn't really focus on it, as you see, but meeting little!ben is a kind of gift FOR ray, too. for once in his life getting to spend time with someone who knows that he's a magical kind of freak and who doesn't CARE.

and i'm SO glad you thought it was in character for him.
