Hi guys. This is my first ever due South fic, so I hope you like it. Also, my first time posting to a community, so if I did something wrong please let me know. Finally, it's been beta'd by me, so of course any mistakes are my own :)

I like these as well. My favourites are #1, 2, 5 and 9. I like the way you show us these little hidden sides of people.

By the way, where did you find the definitions? Or are they yours as well?

Heh, thanks. I was a little worried about getting Maggie right, because we don't really see much of her, but I'm glad you liked them.

The definitions are word for word from www.dictionary.com (I probably should have put that in the fic).

Thanks for telling. Well, I don't know if it has to be there. I was just surprised that there were so many definitions for queer.

It's been awhile since I watched the Maggie episode but I liked the way she kept convincing herself. I also liked that you used Dewey for the homosexual definition. It was definitely a surprise. *g* I like it when people show a different side of less-liked characters.

I love how unexpected this is. The very definition fits the fic - it isn't what you expect, at any turn. When you get to "homosexual", you throw a curve ball - Dewey? Definitely not what you first expect. I really, really like that. All the little snippets all weave together so well, and the use of all definitions is clever and fun. Excellent job. :D

Thank you so much! I never really liked Dewey in the show - he's kind of the guy you're supposed to think is a jackass, but when I got into a few of the fics written about him I started to like him a bit more, so he got written in there. Glad you like it :)

I think this is lovely. You've captured the characters perfectly and the emotions they feel seem very real and authentic.
I enjoyed reading this very much.

If you ever want a beta for future fics I would be happy to oblige. My e-mail address is Luciferofthecircle [at] hotmail [dot] com.

Thanks! I was a little worried about the characterization for a few of them, but everyone seems to like them :)

Thanks for offering to beta for me! When I get another story going I'll probably take you up on that - my normal beta's got crazy work to do, and she's never seen due South, so I really appreciate the offer.
