Due South/c6d Big Bang 2012!

The due South/c6d big bang is back for another awesome year, and we want you to come play with us! For those who don't know, the dS/c6d big bang has been around for several years (see here and here) to encourage the creation of long fics in the due South and Canadian 6 degrees ( what the heck are Canadian Six Degrees?) fandoms.

Yay! Sounds exciting! :) Now I just need to think of an idea for a major art project... eek. Or else I'll just do a complementary art piece, but I want to try to do a primary one. I love the idea of having different types of fanworks allowed as primary pieces!

We did too! luzula pointed us towards the ladiesbigbang as an example of an awesomely inclusive challenge, and Miz and I borrowed things we thought would translate well into ds/c6d setting. We've never done anything like this before, but we're very excited!

Just wondering what the policy is for crossovers with non-C6D fandoms? Ie a Due South/non-C6D crossover? Vague thoughts of a Due South/Sherlock crossover drawing (because I'm hooked on the latter right now), if it's allowed... (it's just one of various ideas, but I thought I'd check).

We'll have more details when we officially open signups next week, but a crossover should be just fine, so long as the c6d fandom is the primary one.
