LJ name: malnpudl
Art or Fic?: Fic
Fandom and characters/pairings (if you have any idea): due South, Fraser/RayK (possibly others, likely including Vecchio/Stella, as well as past RayK/Stella). Dief, Frannie, and Mark Smithbauer will definitely have significant roles; not sure who else yet. Rodeo AU, here we come!

Yay! I was looking forward to this last year, so I'm glad you're making another try at it!

HEE! So far I hadn't been thinking about Dewey in this AU, but you never know. I'm thinking that Turnbull is a natural for rodeo clown/bullfighter, though, so who knows? :-)

*snicker* I just worry that Turnbull's so tall he wouldn't fit in the barrel... although the image of his legs sticking out (upside down, even) is totes amusing. :D

But mostly I just wanted Dewey to get chased around by a cranky bull. *vbeg*

RODEO! I'm psyched to learn that you're going to write it, finally! Or should I say "Yee-hah!" \o/

Do you think that you might have time to beta? I know your schedule has been kind of jammed, so no worries if not. (It won't be for a few months.)

Depends on the timing, but if you're talking about the summer, the answer is yes, I should be able to. If you mean during the spring semester, maybe I would spend fewer hours, but I would still love to help in any way I can. I can't wait to read; your AU is going to be awesome!

My schedule has been incredibly tough for the last six months, but the major reasons are being dealt with. One of them was the renovation of the art cave and other key areas of the house (a serious renovation!). It's almost finished, and is gorgeous and beautifully functional. \o/

More important, I have decided I am so over stressing to that extent about school. I'm getting organized, and I am finding ways to fit in things I didn't think I could fit in. I think I've straightened myself out about this: I do art school and I do fandom because I think they're worthwhile, you know? Not to add to my stress. They are both supposed to be fun ( ... )

Thank you! I'm convinced it was that final push at the end, the final project and the other stuff I turned in revised. I didn't manage to revise everything; didn't have time, but I suspect it wouldn't have made that grade any better, so...yay, you know? \o/

Awwww, thank you! \o/ I'm glad, you know? I can't even begin to describe the stress of the past 6 months, and I won't bore you guys with it. I had to stay away from LJ almost totally, which really sucked; also, there are a bunch of fannish projects that are waiting for my attention, things I owe people (you're on that list, sweet thing!) I have felt bad about that for months! Some things I simply have to mail, other things I have to complete first. Keerawa is #1 on my list. I actually worked on her project pretty steadily throughout, and I think I'm ready to finish it now; just have to get my oil painting setup out of storage and into the new studio and I can finish it. For you I have stuff from More Joy Day a year ago (*hides*) And maybe something else (stay tuned... ;)

Anyway, I missed you all, and I'm not willing to stay away from fandom that long again, so I'm back. {{{hugs}}}

Wow, that does sound hectic. Home renovations are INSANELY stressful. Much sympathy. I'm glad all the chaos is coming to an end, and you'll soon be able to bask in the awesomeness. :-)

And HOT DAMN, you with the ace! \js/ My cousin in Berkeley has been taking watercolor classes for the last few years, so I've followed her work from the very beginning, and wow that is HARD. Gorgeous, but my goodness, there's a lot to learn and practice.

I will look forward to hitting you up for help, when and as your circumstances permit, and will be grateful for it. :-)

It will be lovely to see more of you around here. I've missed you, and I know I'm very much not alone in this.
