Great snippet.

'Geoffrey rather liked his pills. They were colorful and pleasingly round.'
I really like that line.

Me, too. It makes me giggle every time I see it.

Sucks to be crazy, I bet.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for commenting!

Well, when you're being doped up on anti-psychotics and sedatives...

And Geoffrey is heartbreaking in many ways. So brilliant, yet so troubled. Ah, the price of genius.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked this...

Look! A perfect description of Geoffrey's patented saneface! *loves*

You realize you're going to have to write lots more S&A now, because you've got a damn good Geoffrey voice going on here. So there.

I'll make you a trade, S&A fic for cabbage-sequels...

Heh, sneaky, you! Tell me what the hell should happen in the cabbage-sequel, and I'll see what I can do.

The "impression of a sane person" is gently heartbreaking.

Thanks, spuff. Geoffrey is an artisté and sanity is just a lifestyle choice.

oh, geoffrey!!! i love him telling himself he's an actor, he can act sane. that's just so, aw, poignant.

also? this sentence scans beautifully, and is furthermore hilari-sad:

Geoffrey rather liked his pills. They were colorful and pleasingly round.
