I don’t really have a favorite guitarist or bassist. I’m more of a person who likes a band collectively instead of having individual favorites, but for the sake of the meme, I’ll make some decisions. Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead and Adam Jones from Tool are amazing guitarists. No bassist stands out enough for me to call them a favorite. Danny Carey from Tool and Dave Grohl are definitely my two favorite drummers.
Favorite singer is a three-way tie, I can’t decide on one. Maynard from Tool has one of the most powerful voices in rock, PJ Harvey is who I would want to sound like if I could sing and, finally Thom Yorke. His voice isn’t traditional or everyone’s flavor (my sister always refers to Radiohead as “that whining band you’re always listening to”), but damn if I don’t love it. So here’s PJ and Thom singing This Mess We’re In.
