So... side note... We're looking at the section of deformed skulls and I hear an annoying baby making noises so I look over and all of a sudden my heart drops down into my belly and a hot flush comes over me and I feel like I'm gonna throw up. It's ZERICK!!!! With a pink baby carrier around him and it's his annoying baby! OMG!!! Ok, for you noobs... Zerick was right before Lee.. this boy brooooke my heart. I liked him so much he was an older, badass DJ that would drive hours almost everyday to come see me. He wouldn't be my boyfriend but I didn't care. He would stay in hotels by my house and we would drink (I was 17 or 18 at the time and he was 24 or 25) and make out A LOT and do other fun stuff and he was sooooooo hot he looked just like SA and he was so smart and cool and fun. We met at "Magical Enterprises" (one of my jobs before Sephora... don't ask). We dated a while and then one day he stopped calling and coming around. Finally like 2 weeks after not hearing from him I get a voicemail from him that he's sorry he disappeared he's been with his girlfriend the whole time (girl he had the baby with now) and felt bad for cheating on her (that explained why he would never let me come over) and had to focus on his relationship. (If you go back far enough in my journal you will read the whole thing- this was 2004ish) After that was Paul then I met Lee. Like 3 months after meeting Lee (probably 8 months after the whole disappearing act) he texts me that he misses me and can't live without me bla bla bla. Me and Lee weren't serious so I decided to take him back. I LOVED this guy and didn't care about the past. We hung out a few more times... hooked up a few more times... things weren't the same and this time around he liked me way more than I liked him. All I could think about was getting Lee to be my boyfriend. I talked about Lee A LOT with him. Plus this guy smoked pot all the time and I didn't like it. I picked a fight with him and we never talked again but he'll always be in the back of my mind. So anyway... he was there with that girl. I didn't know if I should say hi or not and by that time he spotted me so I had to think fast "ZERICK!?" I whispered... he looked like a deer in headlights. An old, fat, deer in headlights with a big fluffy beard and a baby dangling from his chest. I gave him a hug. "Is this your baby" "Yea and this is LAUREN" "awww this is LEE" He introduced me as "a girl he used to work with" uhg... Thank god I was wearing my birthday best... cute short skirt, high heels, my hair all done, make up perfect, I even wore fake lashes. THANK YOU GOD!!! I bet he's regretting the path he took now and not sticking it out with me.... It was a quick encounter but I feel SOOOO good now. I've even thought about him a few times lately... went to check his myspace not too long ago but it wasn't updated... I always wonder how he's doing. I wouldn't be surprised if later this week he messages me that he misses me n stuff... or maybe he changed his player ways. Either way. Just had to share.

We went to H&M and got some stuff, Urban Outfitters(I got a painting and bottle opener for $5 each! These will be great in the new apt. And a "Lolcats" book for Brianna... she loves those haha) We also stopped in the Sephora on Chestnut (GORGEOUS but no one greeted or acknowledged us and they were SLOW and a million people working... uh oh!) and a couple other stores. Then we took a cab to "Pod".
So swanky!
I cheated being vegetarian to have these "Jumbo rock shrimp with grilled pinapple and candied walnuts"
But everything else I ate was all veg.
Mango veggie sushi (we already ate 2 pieces)
Tofu lettuce wraps
Soda had fancy straws
Lee got "Duck 2 ways" =( poor quacky
And of course we got desert...
Passion fruit cheesecake in fried wontons with candied peaches and peach sauce (OMG SO GOOD!!!)
And the special of the day... a trio! Chocolate caramel cake sprinkled with sea salt and some kind of delicious brittle candy, a fresh lemon sorbet with candied lemons and some kind of chocolate shot that tasted just like chocolate mousse. It had some kind of liquor in it and was rimmed with sugar, sea salt, and crushed vanilla bean. MMMM
Dinner came to over $100 lol... my treat cos Lee's the bday boy.
On the way home we stopped at a furniture store near my house "just to browse"
I bought a couch set (sofa & loveseat)
And dining set (this pic does not do it justice- it's a gorgeous cream colored stone table and 4 chairs)
Both pieces are SO comfy and I got it all for under $1300!!! So exciting! They're delivering it free on April 24th to my new apartment.
I'm getting this computer desk also (I don't need anything big)

Now all I need is an end table to go at the corner of the couches, a small entertainment center to go against the wall under the flat screen (something with cabinets because I hate people seeing everything underneath I like it all hidden), curtains, bathroom deco, and I would love to get a nice dresser/vanity for my bedroom also. I'm also gonna buy LOTS of plants. I'm sure there's more but that's what I'm looking for right now.
So excited about moving =)

BY the way... THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR THE BIRTHDAY LOVE!!! You're my only real friends haha. Everyone got on the ball yesterday and my phone eventually blew up with messages so I'm feelin better now. LOVE you!!!!
