Damn, sorry this was done kinda narrative like but I’ll try and write the next John/Bobby in a more ‘normal’ POV, heh. Still, I hope you like it!! Oh and I also just quickly want to thank youhadmeatryden for being so awesome and reading over this(and all my other crap) and convincing me it wasn't as bad as I thought it was... and also for helping me find a title for it even if it meant the sacrifice of goats... heh *loves and huggles her anyway*

There was one big difference between John and the rest of the students during winter, and that was that even when it was freezing cold, John would only ever wear fingerless gloves.

He hated the cold, but he still wouldn’t replace those damn gloves that were turning the tips of his fingers blue. It frustrated me to no end… and I suppose that was one of the reasons why he did it; to get on my nerves.

Other then that, the only reason I could come up with was that he wanted to look a certain kind of way and that the gloves were a sort of ‘statement’. It didn’t really sound right though since John didn’t give a damn about what he looked like and even less about what other people thought of him.

Hence my confusion.

John was a puzzle at the most of times but when it was something as small and insignificant as gloves, I just wanted to know why the hell he did it.

Every winter I would watch him and try to figure out one small piece of the complicated puzzle.

He’d notice me everyday, without fail and he’d just smirk.

Occasionally he’d tell me I’d never figure it out and that I should give up. I didn’t though, and not just because I was curious, but because even though he acted annoyed, I could tell he was amused by it, and I was pretty sure that a small part of him was hoping I’d figure it out at some point.

When Marie came to the school, I still didn’t know what his gloves were for but strangely enough, within a month of her arrival, she did.

The frustration at knowing she had found out before me snapped the last thread of patience I had.

I had gone to our room and confronted him, asking how Marie could know and not me.

Then he had just smirked and answered.

I told her.

Thinking back on it, I didn’t know what made me do it, but suddenly, I was across the room and my lips were attached to his. The kiss was heated, tongues and teeth connecting while hands snuck under shirts, pulling them off as we made our way to his bed.

Soon enough it became a common occurrence between us even thought I had also started dating Marie.

She knew about me and John, but she never said a word just like he never said a word about the two of us.

I don’t think I’ll ever know what they really think about this ‘thing’ between the three of us, but I do know, that no matter what, I’ll always have the piece of each other that they want.

I had John’s body and Marie’s heart.

To bad all I wanted was the opposite.
