(no subject)
So last week I went on a remy/logan binge, and I noticed that all writers use several things all the time (I dunno totally if it's canon or fanon I'm inclined to think it's a mixture of both) like Logan callign Remy 'Gumbo', and Remy's referral to himself in third person due to a dissociative identity disorder caused by Sinister's experiments; Creed and Remy having an abusive relationship which then lets Remy manipulate/identify with Logan (and loy's more other things that I won't list).
My question is, what are the cliche's within Bobby/John fanfiction? Because to me most people just stick to Movieverse whilst in Gambit/Wolverine people tend to mix up ten flavours of Comic!Gambit with Movie!Wolverine. Am I the only one that thinks that Bobby/John shippers largely ignore comicverse (due to lack of knowledge or just a preference for more identifiable subtext in movieverse?
....and I've been a bit of a rubbish Mod this year but next year will be a lot less stressful for me and I might spend more time involving myself on the internets, well that and trying not to get into ll the fandom wank I did this year =]
