A real update for once. The shock has to be...well, underwhelming.
Let's see...last month, I celebrated my 38th birthday on April 15th by going to the Georgia Renaissance Festival with my friend Alex, then we came back and went to see Cowboy Mouth in concert. A great concert and I was thankful to have my hearing and voice back before I went to work on Monday.
Work's been rough, but I got promoted. As soon as I get the final approval, I'll be a Senior On-Site Service Specialist, with a raise. Depending on how much IKON approves, it'll be nice to have a little extra money in my pocket. Lord knows I need it.
On a side note, I've grown tired of my life at times. I don't know what I want to do with it. I think about going back to school, but can't afford it. I've already spent way too much time in school and I've got the bills to prove it. Sometimes I think I need to grow up, sometimes I don't. I have no clue what I want to do with my life, and 40 is rapidly approaching.
