Weekend update!
I know, I know. A *real* LJ post. You can get up off the ground now. ;)
Anyway...work has been work, and that's about it. Not really much to say about it right now.
The weekend started out in fine form as I finally got to catch up with adrendari and icedragon1969 after several years. I'm ashamed that it took so long to catch up with them (over 5 years), and it was great to see them and the kids. Man, have Ally and Jesse grown up!
Immediately after arriving, we were summoned to play D&D. Now, it's been awhile since I've played D&D (over 10 years), but I remember quickly how to play, and begin causing the party trouble (I'm chaotic neutral). Needless to say, I gotta get some dexterity for my character so I can wander off and REALLY cause the party trouble. ;)
Saturday, icedragon1969 and I went to the University of West Georgia. He showed me his work place and they have a pretty nice campus. He's going to do what he can to see about getting me on there at UWG. Working at a university would be pretty sweet, I have to admit. :) Afterwards, we stopped quickly at Home Depot, and returned home. adrendari cooked a wonderful dinner, and we relaxed afterwards by watching "Major Payne" and finally calling it a night.
Today, adrendari cooked us a great breakfast, then just relaxed and watched TV. We watched "Men In Black", Mythbusters, and during this, the kids and I wrestled. It was a great ending to the weekend, as icedragon1969 drove me home early this evening.
All in all, it was a great weekend and I can't wait to do it again real soon!
