"immergered"? For more than half a million, I expect spelling with my house.

Aside from that, though, sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I lived in a "storybook style" house from the 20s for a couple years (I was looking in the windows of the house on the cover of this book), and it was nice to have that kind of house pride built in, getting to follow along on tours that wandered by and listen to architechture professors talk about the place I lived. These seem to have layouts no worse than most modern houses, and a bit of style to boot, so yay.

One of my friends is a huge Tolkien fan and linked to that awhile back, wistfully saying she wished she could live there. Personally, I think I'd pick The Shire over Celebration, FL ...
