John Cudia just blew me away. First of all? His voice just...okay, maybe i'm biased because he *is* my first stage Phantom, but holy shit he was amazing. AND!!! AND? He was *sexy*, so those people who say "OMG GERRY WUZ TOO SEXXY THEY SEXED UP THE ROLE TOO MUCH OMG11!" can kiss my Cudia/Butler fangirling ass. And he was CRAZY! I mean just flat out crazy, there were a few times I honest to Bob thought that Christine was either gonna get raped or just killed on the spot.o.o Right there. I wasn't too big on Raoul, honestly, but cripe Phantom was so scary I could see why Christine was like "OMGRAOULISUDDENLYLOVEYOULIKEWOAH".*nodnodnod*

Jennifer Hope Willis was *amazing* as Christine. Gorgeous, and her damn voice...x.xI was so jealous. But I'm still convinced that Christine needs to seek mental help, because come on, she's 20 something and she thinks there's an Angel of Music?O_o I hope Raoul gets her some serious meds or *something*. At least with Movie Christine you can kinda go "Well..she is only 16.. still pretty young and impressionable..", but 20 SOMETHING and saying "Omg the Angel of Music sings songs in my head, not even kidding Raoul."? Uhm..no.
I did *not* like Carlotta(Kim Stengel), and wanted Minnie Driver back, as well as Patrick Wilson as Raoul, because our Raoul(Adam Monley) was just BLAH.X_O I also wasn't big on the mannagers, either. I just kind of found them..boring.
Piangi(John Whitney) was *hysterical*.xD I loved him.
OMG!!O_O My first Meg Giry was Kate Wray!!<33333 She's so gorgeous...but..uhm... yeah, the long standing rumor of the ballet rats being tone deaf is true. Kate sounded like she was trying to be like Sarah Brightman or something, and that's not cool on so many different levels. She was a LOVELY Meg otherwise, and I was thrilled that she'd be my first Meg, I just wasn't thrilled about her voice. x.x
Madame Giry(Patti Davidson-Gorbea) was *gorgeous*, and significantly more young than in the movie version. She was just..really cool.o_o And everytime she smashed her cane..thingy I about jumped out of my skirt. x.x
I'll have more on the actual show and such later once I stop squeeing insanely over the awesomeness of it all.<333
