Quickie
First of all, it's lovely to see caffcaff back on the internet :-) I was missing your entries and random photos :-)
Yesterday was my gran's 80th birthday so off we went for a family meal. Our family isn't really into going out for meals and that was the first time we had been together since March. And that was at my papa's 80th! However, he wasn't too well during his birthday so yesterday was a bit of joint celebration. We went to a local Brewer's Fair which I was a bit dubious about in case we were over run with kids. However, the weather was lovely so most of the kids were outside playing. Huzzah! The meal was surprisingly good. For the first time ever, Papa didn't order fish and chips which was...a miracle to be quite honest.
And today? It's C and I's anniversary. It's been a whole year which is rather fab! We're going out for drinks and dinner. C's exams start on Wednesday so he won't be getting too drunk. That doesn't mean I can't get roaring drunk, huzzah! Also, C's parents have given us some cash towards the meal which was rather nice of them.
Off I go again. I need to go and make myself look.....presentable.
