This book contains four novellas, three of which went on to become famous films. The first novella is "Rita Hayworth and the Shawkshank Redemption", "Apt Pupil" which has a much more grisly end than the film and "The Body" which became the wonderful "Stand by Me". The final novella is "The Breathing Method" which is a story within a story. It follows a man who is a member of a mysterious club where the members meet to tell stories. Out of the four this is the only novella that has obvious horror elements in it.
