Steampunk, Abney Park, Saloncon...Anyone interested?

Hello gentle readers, your narrator here with a proposition.

To make a long story short, several weeks ago I found my way into the world of steampunk (a fashion/mentality/music scene/lifestyle/etc) and haven't looked back since. Click the link to find out more info.
In conjunction with that, I started my love affair with the band Abney Park, a steampunk band.
Lo and behold it seems they are playing a concert this September at Saloncon.
Basically it's a weekend convention for the Victorian-inclined. There's various demonstrations and merchants, a costume ball, a steampunk meet-up, and performance by Abney Park. I'm most interested in the last two, and I'm curious if anyone here might like to come along.
If anyone here is particularly steampunk inclined, let me know and maybe we could work something out. I've started creating a costume for my particular character which I'll be wearing to the con/concert, though anyone who tags along is not obligated to dress up. However, I would love to put a steampunk group together if you're game.
Tickets range from $15-$35 depending upon when you get them and what discounts are available, and hotel rooms are set at $79 a night. I'm not sure that I'd be getting a room because I have a friend I might stay with, but nothing is set in stone yet.
So anyone interested? There's still plenty of time, but drop me a message if you are so we can start to figure things out. And if you would like to go in costume, we could brainstorm on designs.
