Below is a list of my favorite episodes from the 2015-2016 limited series, "DICKENSIAN". Inspired by the literary works of Charles Dickens, the series was created by Tony Jordan:

FAVORITE EPISODES OF "DICKENSIAN" (2015-2016)



1. (1.16) "Episode 16" - A pregnant Honoria Barbary goes into labor with only her sister Frances, who is unfamiliar with childbirth, there to help her. The feud between Frances and Honoria's lover, Captain James Hawdon, affects his ability to help them.



2. (1.18) "Episode 18" - Police detective Inspector Bucket has identified the killer of businessman-moneylender Jacob Marley, but faces a moral dilemma. Arthur Havisham is not only devastated by his decision to set up his sister Amelia with the criminal fraudster Meriwether Compeyson, but also by his inability to reconcile with her.



3. (1.01) "Episode 1" - The series premiere sets up the introduction of its various characters and ends with Marley's murder on Christmas Eve.



4. (1.20) "Episode 20" - In the series finale, Nancy convinces her boss, the criminal thief Fagin, to make amends with his muscle Bill Sikes and his top pickpocket, the Artful Dodger. Amelia Havisham's wedding to Compeyson becomes an ill-fated affair. And Inspector Bucket lands a new case.



5. (1.14) "Episode 14" - Bucket uses Nancy to get to the Artful Dodger during his pursuit to find evidence against Fagin. But the Dodger is reluctant to betray the master criminal. Compeyson makes an increasingly reluctant Arthur an offer the latter cannot refuse.



HM: (1.08) "Episode 8" - Arthur struggles to find the courage to confide in Matthew Pocket before Compeyson's plans to get rid of him come to fruition. Meanwhile, Inspector Bucket becomes suspicious of Honoria and Frances' father, Edward Barbary, after discovering the latter's business dealings with Marley.
