Pretty good day today. That really takes care of the bulk of the update. Ha.
So "see ya laters" really aren't that fun, ya know? I don't do goodbyes, which makes it easier, but it's still no fun when you sit back and think about it. A lot of good, make that great, times we've had, but they're not over yet! Do you think that moving to Indy will get rid of me? Please, child. You've got to try a lot harder than that!
I spent most of the afternoon trying to find software to transpose "The Prayer" by Celine Dion and Josh Groban into a key that's humanly possible, and praise God I found one! I feel a lot better about it now that I've got it bumped down to D and I've actually heard it sung in D. I had the track in D with no vocals, but that doesn't really help you when you're trying to learn in. I mean, it's not that easy to try and learn something in F and then sing it by yourself 3 steps lower. Anyway, I got it done, so I should be good to go (with practice, of course).
Tomorrow is shaping up to be a lot like today, except instead of spending hours with music, I plan to spend that time studying. Lord knows I need to. It's time to step it up. Get ready, cause here I come.
The Bizarre Holiday of the Day for April 19 is GARLIC DAY. Nasty.
