Serenity con!! :D *bounces* In two words: Totally RAWKED!! In more words: Keep reading! :-p (which coincidentally enough is also two words)
Woke up before 6 which is just wrong, but I'll live. Had texts on my phone from both Phoebe and Vix, but luckily I had to charge it at the foot of my bed Friday night so I didn't hear it (A) So :e:p for them trying to wake me up, evil they be. Mam drove me and Niamh to the airport. Freezing cold. Guy told us the bus wasn't gonna be til 7, when my schedule said 6:20, so I didn't believe him. Niamh said to go wait inside where it was warm, I said walk down to the bus shelter to make sure. Schedules there said 6:20 too. We waited and waddya know, it came at 6:20. Damn bastard coulda made us miss the bus!!! Evil!
Bus journey up was uneventful, just lotsa talking and shiz. The bus' clock was 4 hours and 23 minutes fast which was rather odd really... Arrived in Belfast around 8:50am ish. Not too sure cos I forget. We walked out and looked for the information place. Found it and they told us we'd need to get a bus to the place where the con was. Bus wasn't gonna arrive til 9:20 and we were already late so we looked for a taxi. Found these phone booths where ya could call a taxi for free, but Niamh wouldn't do it and neither would I. Went looknig for another and I finally gave in and called. Taxi was there in no time and we were off on our wonderful journey to the Odyssey Pavillion.
When we got there we were kinda confused, cos there was also an Arena too. So we went to the Pavillion, couldn't see anywhere open and not a sign to be found, so we walked to the Arena where people had camped out to buy Westlife tickets :-s Crazy people O_o Wandered back to the Pavilion following some girl and eventually made our way to the cinemas where some nice man told us where to go :D Thought we were gonna be late, but due to Joanathan (Woodward) sleeping late everything was behind schedule so we weren't late :D
Got to watch Serenity first, for the 4th time :D About halfway through I noticed two girls coming down the aisle to the front (me and Niamh sat in the second row) and sit in the first row. It was dark so I couldn't *really* tell, but I was almost sure that it was Vixy and Phoebe, and toyed with the idea of going "Pssssst, Vix" real quietly, but instead decided to keep watching the movie. After it ended and we got our break I went out and the third set of people I saw were Vixy and Phoebe :D Went over said hey and then after that it was kinda awkward conversations xD
They went to the toilet, so did Niamh, I tried but there was a queue and I didn't feel like waiting. We went back in for the Q&A with Jewel, and they went to sit at the back cos the first time they were in the staff section xD I texted Vix and made them come sit behind us, after about a million texts. Lots of questions there, and I got lots of piccies. Then there was the Q&A with Jonathan which was very eventful. The guy was HILARIOUS and dancin around, drinkin whiskey and givin it to people and blessing them LOL. Shoulda seen it, frickin hilarious!
Some time before that I gave Phoebe her Robbie Williams CD I bought for Christmas, and gave Vixy her Princess Disney stickers too. Didn't give her the other pressie though cos it was kinda bigger and I didn't wanna do it in a cinema screen full of people xD
Afterwards we went for food in Soda Joe's (which is like Eddie Rockets I think). While we waited to be seated Jonathan came in and looked at the menu. Phoebe said she thought he was gonna eat in Pizza Hut and it was so funny cos he didn't know WHAT she said xD She's got a funny but cute accent that's gotta be hard for an American at first. Turns out he was lookin for mozarella sticks for Jewel. They didn't have them though. He gave us all a high-five though, was SO cool, even though it was pretty hard xD I high-fived a famous person!! Totally wicked! When we sat down I gave Vixy her pressie, which I think she liked.
Photo Session wasn't too long after that. I gots a piccie taken with Jewel :D I put my arm around her and everything, and I actually said stuff to her. Was SOOOOOO cool. :D But the stoopid photo printing place made a mistake and the pics weren't printed the right size, so I don't get my piccie until they send it out to me. :(
Autograph session next-ish. By now Jonathan was definitely drunk, and so incredibly funny! He signed my badge. He wrote over the VIP and then put "ROCK!" beneath it, then signed his initials on the back. Really funny. Jewel was lookin kinda embarassed a few times xD Loved it.
Went for a walk with Phoebe and Vixy to the bus place cos they didn't know when the bus/train to Vixy's sister was gonna be. Quite fun the three of us, though we missed our Magsie :( We missed the auction, and got back while the raffle was on. I didn't get to sit down when Niamh told me I'd won something, I was like "I WON?!?!?" Got a big book of films which is quite cool. Then I won AGAIN! Got a free game of mini golf in Belfast which is kinda cool. THEN I won AGAIN AGAIN and this time I got the SERENITY SOUNDTRACK!!!! And a t-shirt with Mal on it :D The guy told me to take a t-shirt as well :-p
Screen test then where some people got to act out a scene from "The Message" with Jewel/Jonathan which was funny, especially the ones with Jonathan. That dude is hilarious, though he was drunk so I guess it's to be expected :-p
Then we had to go :( Had to say bye to Phoebe and Vixy even though we didn't get to talk all that much really :( Next time we shall talk lots and lots and not be so weird and awkward. *nods furiously* Hugged them goodbye then got in a taxi back to the bus centre. Stuff after that's not so interesting, so I'll stop there.
Pics will come at a later date cos I need a memory card reader if I wanna transfer the piccies I took on my digital camera onto the computer. :( Soon as I get them I'll posty them up here.
