It rained very heavy last night, clipped the power at about eleven. I had a nub of a candle and three matches so I reserved them for an emergency. I spent the night in the dark watching the cuts of thunder and the endless drive of the rain. After a few hours it felt like it had always been raining, and that was comforting in a way.
