I don't want to go!
It's painful to sever all ties to Dunedin and New Zealand.
Slowly but surely I've had to start doing it though. Yesterday I turned in my the key to get into the Gym i've been going to, then today at lunch I closed my bank account and transferred all my funds to an overseas account (sounds sketchy, no?), I closed my library account and I also filed my Inland Revenue taxes (assuming I filled everything out right, I'm going to be seeing about $400 returned to me in taxes!).
Tonight is my work "going away" party, which we're having two days early 'cause two of the boys aren't going to be here tomorrow or Friday (which is significant because there's only 8 people who work in this office).
I'm trying really hard to focus on being excited for Australia at this point and not on the sadness leaving NZ is going to bring me.
