Trip Part One: Colorado (or the Way Too Much Coffee post)

My brother's name is John Daniel. I've known him as Dan for 20 years, but he's decided to go by John now. It's messing with my Chi. But I'm making the attempt. It should only take me another 20 years to get used to.

My cousin Dave owns a framing construction company. My brother is learning the trade from the best. The Rio Grande is a restaurant just off the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO.

Saturday
Take me out to the ballgame: The Colorado Rockies game with father and two sons. Rockies 10-5 against the Devil Rays. Grand-slam in the first inning. Our seats were in the 14th row back from home plate. Spectacular!
Later that night, John and I drove to Fort Collins to meet up with his friend Dan and hit up the bar scene. We witnessed two genuine drunken bar fights. Very entertaining. Afterwards we randomly encountered two beautiful sisters, who of course my brother immediately chatted up. We talked for over an hour, and they were very friendly, intelligent, and cool in addition to being unfairly good-looking!
Sunday
Gun play!
Sunday night dinner at cousin Dave and Tony's house, with their kid Riley. He has more energy than NYSEG. John and cousin Ellie also present and accounted for.
