I'm a tired plebe.
Plebe summer sucked. I don't even think I want to go into detail about it. I'm so glad it's over. Acyear has gone pretty well so far.
I was going to get up at 0600 to do my laundry but I didn't feel like getting up so I waited until 0625 then got ready. I read my three articles (Virunga National Park in the Congo, Cleverly girl's body found, and Brazil beat US 4-2) and learned my menus. That sort of stuff has become really rote and I don't have a problem memorizing all of it anymore. I don't have a problem with the days either. Hopefully we'll be off all-calls on thrusday if people keep performing well.
Breakfast was back with the squad which made me happy. I hated roving because everyone was always like, nope I"m full and B. would be a douchebag about letting me sit at that table. But G. sits with us a lot because he's Mr. F.'s roommate and he hates me too. Ugh the life of a plebe.
After breakfast I had to chase down the laundry guyts to go turn it in and I ended up putting it in the truck haha. I should probably start doing that on time, but I couldn't wait because I didn't do laundry last week and I had soooo much and my whites are all disgusting and so is a set of blues (but they're not actually blue... oh the navy..).
First period I talked to mom most of the time. She's been losing weight because of the surgery (well, that's what it's supposed to do) and she tells me that I soud cynical all of the time, but I think that all plebes sound that wasy. It's so hard to be funny and laugh when you're constantly getting yelled at and being told that you can't do things right. For example,t hese damn boards. They were done but now the AcBoard, CMEO, and 4th Platoon's board has to be re-done and because I'm in charge of it all of the flak comes down on me. And I have to change our company board to a Batt Staff board, which is really gay and is going to take forever. Luckily doing these boards have put me in better standing with the upperclass. I'll add pictures of the ones that I did later. They're pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
I had seamanship. My prof is from the royal navy and says fuck every two words. It's pretty awesome. Too bad the class is dull as all hell. I like most of the guys in it though. There are some cute ones. :) I forgot we had homework so during mando study hour tonight I have to go put it on the box by his office and get some late points. Whoops. haha
Then I had Calc. I got a 15.5/20 on my quiz because I made some stupid mistakes. That really sucks because I missed the first quiz... I'll do better next time.
English is one of my favorite classes even though I suck at writing. Our prof is really awesome but he plays favorites. OH well, at least he likes me. haha I got an A- on the last paper but I only got an 8/10 on the quiz we just got back. I guess I should have read. Next time I will.
My foot hurts a little bit but it's nothing like it was. I can't wait to get off of this damn boot. I hate it with a passion.
Okay, time to study meals for chow calls.
