(no subject)
since i obviously dont post ANYTHING meaningful here anymore...ill just
use this next entry as a spot to jot down my most recent mod ideas.
1)recently i found out that a friend of mine has access to, and has had
work done with, UV reactive tattoo ink. this got my gears turning on an
idea to use that stuff. the biggest thing was, all of the designs i saw
that looked GOOD with UV ink were very simple line-based designs.
stumbling across this, i made my decision:
thats right, a power button. very simple, and line based. since i already have wrist tatoos, and clearly dont just wanna rip the picture above off...i needde a new placement. my decision was on my neck about halfway between my collarbone and my jawline (kinda where my shoulder turns into my neck). i like how this one would look there, plus, the connotaion of that spot being a "turn on" spot follows suit. bounced this by the UV ink artist, he totally dug it. sometime in january, that one's getting done.
2) ive contemplated my backpiece for a VERY long time. i cant find any pics of it right now, and my camera is being retarded, so...at some point ill re-post pics of it. in the mean time, for those of you who HAVE seen it...im looking at making the "wing"-ish part into more of a full-back wings...that come up more angled towards my shoulders and then down 2/3 to 3/4 of my back....hard to describe....once i photoshop something up, ill post it.
3) a conversation i was a part of this weekend inspired this new idea. we were talking about what each other's "trademark" was. what made us unique, what set us apart. so i came up with the idea to put a fairly small (TM) logo somewhere...basically, symbolizing "this is me, i'm not changing, take me as i am, patent pending" etc etc. i really like this idea alot....and its super simple.
