BOSTON!
so im in boston, visiting tara. this city is really sweet...and with the exception of a sprinkle of rain when i got off the subway yesterday, the weather is gorgeous. we went for sushi last nite (yum), walked around cambridge, and then went back for an extra-long snuggle session.
today we woke up late, went for lunch, bounced through an activity fair and then stopped here, in the computer lab, to get her laptop set up to be on the internet. see, thats what im good for :-p.
back to yesterday, my travels to get here were rather interesting. barry picked me up around 10 and drove me to phili airport. for all of the traveling ive done recently, i guess it was bound to happen eventually: some of my ehh....excess....jewlery set off the metal detector. I knew what was going on and thought it was hysterical, the security guy was clearly a bit more confused by the situation, and had no idea how to deal with it. all he kept saying was "im not queer or nothin, i just gotta do my job." i kept laughing and laughing...anyway...yeah. got thru security after that little incident.
the steward on the loudspeaker on my flight was a freaking riot. he was cracking jokes the entire flight, making my less than an hour flight from phili to providence, RI very enjoyable.
took a shuttle from providence airport to the train station, where my train was an hour late, thus making me wait 3 hours for it to arrive. but once it did...it was only about 30 mins on the train, 15 mins on the subway...and i was at HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARVARD!
this is the longest update ive had in a while. i tend to update more when im NOT home, go figure.
well, im going back home tomorrow...ill catch everyone then.
