[several minutes later, Vent bursts into Duo's place, in Mega Merged mode, dropping Suoh on the floor]

[Suoh is screaming as loud as he possibly can, demanding to be let go so he can find Quatre. He doesn't take well to being dropped, though, and instantly tries to dart away again. Luckily this time Duo manages to grab him and yank him back in to a hug, holding on tight.]

Goddamnit, Su... I'm sorry... I can't let you go...

[Comes out from his room, arm still in a sling and looks at Duo holding onto Suoh and Vent all in the front hall.]

What on Earth is going on?

[Duo watches Vent leave before answering, never looking away from the door and refusing to let go of Suoh no matter how hard he thrashes.]

Quatre... something happened to Quatre...

Suoh, stop this! Making a fool of yourself isn't going to help Quatre.

[He let go and walked towards the kitchen.]

[Duo doesn't answer. In fact he's gone completely quiet since Nokoru asked him what was going on. He's still sitting on the floor, knees drawn to his chest and eyes on the door. He's not upset, he's furious, but he's keeping quiet because he knows better than to go against Vent.]
