Listen ... Haku ... I'm glad you did what you did. When Greg grabbed me like he did--it was all I could do not to retaliate. If I had, I'd have done a lot more than just break his nose; probably it would have been his wrist or arm. It's stupid, because I don't usually get that angry over trivial things like that. But that's what could have happened. So I know how you feel.

Getting hit was a shock, but the fact that it was you is the reason it didn't go any further. If it had been Greg I probably would've hit back, and then things would have gotten even worse. So by being the one to cause us a bit of harm, you probably stopped us doing something to one another we'd have ended up regretting. Don't be afraid to use your strength for that. A little pain now is better than a lot later on.

I ... don't know. Last time we actually got physical it was deliberate, but ... it does seem like we get into an argument almost every time we talk. Either he does something I think is stupid or he calls me on something I've said or done, and then it just ... escalates. I never used to get into stupid arguments like this, back home.

He has ... talked about a few things with me, before. He's not very good at following his own advice, though; if he didn't bottle things up the way he does then I wouldn't have needed to push him into fighting with me.

Master isn't very good at taking that advice either.

[sigh] I'm better at it than Greg is. I may not talk much, but at least I acknowledge the value of an outlet. Even if it is usually a violent one.
