walking in times square through the snow is pretty: part 2

yesterday i went with manny, erin, and miriam to see the daily show with jon stewart in nyc. we got there early and needed to go somewhere for an hour or we'd freeze to death. my creative mind came up with a poster for miriam, so we went to kinkos. the poster says "jon jewart, this arab loves you" with an arrow pointing down.
last week when miriam was talking aboot jon stewart and how he's so hot, i added that he's jewish. miriam, who doesn't like jews, freaked out with "WHAAAT?!?!?! HE'S JEWISH?!?!?! DIANA, YOU'VE RUINED IT FOR ME." however, the anticipation of going to the daily show was able to overcome any antisemitic feelings towards jon stewart. miriam said she just won't be able to bring him home to her parents or something like that.
jon stewart comes out before the taping of the show to talk to the audience and answer questions. when he came out miriam opened up the poster. i though she'd hold it above her head but she held it low so that the top of the poster was right under her face and the arrow was pointing to her crotch. the poster stopped him in his tracks. they talked briefly but miriam could hardly get any words out, she was so nervous. then he asked mir to put it away because the arrow pointing to her crotch was freaking him out. it was hilarious.
later on during the taping a security guy comes over to us and takes the poster. he told manny that he was going to bring it to jon after the show so he could sign it. it was signed "happy hanukkah. love, jon stewart."
after the show we walked around the city and it was a beautiful snowy night. a lot of funny stuff happened. i laughed hardest when some guy was asking for "change, credit cards, counterfeit."
___{she said "this is the real loony bin."}___
another guy scared me when he stopped and cupped his hand around my cigarette so i could light it. i should have i guess, but i never said thank you.

lately i've been going to new york city much more than i used to. it's nice and now i don't think i'd mind living there for a while.
