The trend lately:
in a slurrish manner "Oh my god, Stevo, do you know how smart you are? That might be the hottest part about you. You know, your smartness."
For some reason, I've had my friend's tell me how smart I am. I honestly don't know what they're talking about, or why they're telling me this. You'd think someone "so smart" would know his own intelligence, but apparently I'm the type that needs to be told over and over again.
What makes someone smart anyway? Is it the decisions the person has made? Is it the way they talk? Or the grades they made? Or the fact that they know how to read and write and make analysis??
I don't understand, that's why I'm not winning awards, I guess. Seriously, this is fucking with me now. If I was so smart how come I'm living the lifestyle that I'm currently in? Is that why I'm smart? my lifestyle? That doesn't make sense. Is it my views on society and outside the box attitude? I guess that makes sense, but that shouldn't make someone "smart" per se. I'd figure someone living inside the box and being the norm would make someone "smart" because their only problem would be what shirt they were going to wear that day and whether they should put their left leg in first or the right. I don't know if I'm smart, I feel I'm more "senseful". I find it to live life the way I think makes sense, and most of the time my days don't make any. I hear about atrocities that could've been avoided or just stupid fucking shit that wasn't necessary but still happened. Shit's fucked but most just sit back and enjoy the view sipping on some stupid drink "they" are selling to us.
Take for example, the news up here in Tallahassee right now is this poor girl who went missing after the TPD intimidated her into doing a drug sting. She was found days later, dead. First of all, if you don't know what is going on with this you should read about it somewhere else because I'm not going to go into it. Her name was Rachel Hoffman, look it up on Google, but the police lost her. Fucking lost her. How do you lose a person, especially one that is helping you? Don't they have gadgets or something? Eyeballs? For fuck's sake, they busted her with less than 20 g of marijuana and a list of names and dollar amounts. "Oh my god, a pot dealer, let's make her buy 1200 pills of ecstasy and another gun, and bust her connections. I'm sure we'll get medals or something." Poor girl. Where's the riot? Rodney King got one, and he survived.
We have idiots running everything in our lives and our lives are restricted due to it. The american dream is just that, a dream, is nothing more than a mentality of white people from the 50s and 60s, but everyone has set out to make a million pieces of paper, or worse, a one followed by six zeros on a screen with our names on it. No one realizes that money is the reason for most of the evil in this world. Money is the reason we're invading countries, killing people/things, unjusting our friends, having enemies. It is the degradation of society and it's all we know, so it's all we'll use.
I don't have any ideas to change it, I guess I was just making sure people knew.
