I'm alone, in my bedroom, drinking before 9am.
What's wrong with drinking before noon? What's wrong with drinking alone? They're both taboo; why? I honestly would like to know, so please, somebody speak up. I just don't see it.
As far as I can tell, these two taboos are indicative of other problems in a person's life. You either drink because you enjoy the feeling, or because that feeling helps you to escape. But, alcoholism aside (from which I do not suffer), they are not problems themselves.
I admit that I have other problems in my life, and yes, that's probably why I'm drinking right now. But what's so wrong with that? Why would people look down on me for that?
