A funny thing happened on the way to work today. The bus dropped me off at the Walmart parking lot for the lengthy walk to work. So there I was strolling along when I hear from a distance,"STOP!". So I turn around to see what's going on. There was this older guy being chased out of Walmart by some employee in orange overalls. The employee gave up pretty quickly on his pursuit. The older guy didn't really notice and speed away clutching onto whatever he acquired which hid under his jacket. He was constantly checking back shortly after to see if was being followed.
He was on the same route as I. As we walked past Canadian Tire, I for sure thought he was going to stop in there for a treat or two. But I guess his narrow escape from Walmart made him think better or probably it was due to the junk he snagged still had their tags and would cause a problem when grabbing some tires.
