!@#$%^&*OMFG. ok. here i am. just innocently eating my stale cheese curls &freezing my balls off. there's no heat in the upstairs of my house. because it's broken. &thenWelcome to MP3.com.
As you’ve no doubt noticed by now, we’re undergoing some significant changes. I’d like to tell you about what’s going on and what you can expect in the months ahead.
First - for all of you who come to MP3.com to find music, you will see that we currently don’t have any to offer. This is a temporary situation. We are working hard on developing a next generation digital music information service that will make it easier than ever to find the music you want online, as well as to discover new artists and keep up with all your current favorites. To learn more about the new MP3.com and to be notified of our members-only preview click here.

Second - for all of you who come to MP3.com to upload and promote your music, you will see that those services aren’t available, either. Again, this is a temporary situation. Our sister site, CNET Download.com, will be launching new and improved artist services early next year at music.download.com. These services will be free and will expose your music to more people than ever before. To learn more about these services and to be notified of the artists-only preview, click here.

Third - for all of you who come to MP3.com for the community, we know that the bonds here have been built through many years of shared experience. To help maintain that connection, and to provide a forum for feedback and comments about the next generation MP3.com, we have set up new message boards which we invite you to visit and use. Click here to get started.

So that’s the story. We appreciate your patience during this rebuilding project. While it certainly won’t be easy, with your feedback, guidance and continued support we look forward to making MP3.com bigger and better than ever before.

Thanks for reading,

Vince Broady
Senior Vice President, Entertainment
CNET Networks

P.S. While we are rebuilding MP3.com, if you are looking for information on MP3 related news, hardware reviews, and software downloads, I invite you to check out CNET’s Digital Music Center.happened.
